Terms of Use
Welcome to hasby alarm. By using the app or ordering a tag, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
What hasby alarm is
hasby alarm is a free no-snooze alarm for Fajr and Tahajjud. It only switches off when you tap your phone on your tag. It's a companion to your worship, not a replacement for knowledge or scholarly guidance.
It's free
The app is free, with no adverts, no subscriptions and nothing to unlock. We may add, change or remove features over time as we improve it.
Your free tag
The tag is free. You pay £2 towards postage and packing, taken securely by Stripe when you order.
UK only for now. We can only deliver to UK addresses at the moment.
One per household. If we receive more than one order for the same address, we may cancel the extra orders and refund the £2.
Delivery usually takes up to 7 days. This is an estimate, not a guarantee.
Lost or damaged? If your tag doesn't arrive or arrives damaged, email salam@hasby.co and we'll send you a replacement.
Cancelling. You can cancel your order and get your £2 back by emailing us before your tag is posted. This doesn't affect your rights under UK consumer law.
Once it arrives, the tag is yours to keep, and your whole family can pair it with their own phones. Please don't resell tags.
Waking up
hasby alarm is built to ring through silent mode and Do Not Disturb. It still depends on your phone, though: it can't ring if your phone is switched off or out of battery, or if your phone's settings or a software update stop alarms from working. Keep your phone charged and test your alarm.
You set the alarm time yourself, so check it against your local prayer timetable. We can't guarantee the alarm will wake you, and your prayers remain your own responsibility.
Using it well
Don't misuse the app, attempt to break it, or access it in unauthorised ways.
Religious content
hasby alarm helps you rise for worship, but the responsibility for your worship, and for checking any religious detail, remains your own. When in doubt, refer to a trusted scholar or your local masjid.
Our content
The hasby name, design and software are ours. You may use the app for your own worship, but please don't copy or resell it.
No warranty
hasby alarm and the tag are provided "as is". We work hard to keep them reliable, but we can't promise the app will always be available or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app or the tag, including an alarm that doesn't ring or a missed prayer.
Stopping use
There's no account to close. You can stop using hasby alarm at any time by deleting the app. See our Privacy Policy for how to delete your order details.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll revise the date above when we do.
